This year marks the 38th year since The King of Reggae Robert Nesta Marley succumbed to cancer on May 11, 1981. Although he has left this earthly realm, the music of Bob Marley and The Wailers has continued to live on in spirit and remain eternally relevant for generations to come.
Bob’s spirit lives within his music. His heart dwells deeply within the rhythm and carries an abundance of life messages that can remedy a broken heart, that can encourage the discouraged and uplift the weak. His music is entrenched in the directive to be of a positive mind, to unite in peace, to help one another, to show love unconditionally, with a full heart. The instructions of living a life filled with love, faith, and unity lie within the body of his reggae sounds. Bob’s reggae music transcends all genre of music and leaves no one out. In honor of his passing, I impart upon you a playlist of inspiration.
