The saying that the month of March comes in like a lion seems to be true. So far, we have had inches of snowfall every day this month in the tri-state area. With all this snow, the thoughts of a breezy summer barbecue come to mind with the wonders of how long Mother Nature will take before she sends warm outdoor weather our way. So, while waiting for the long-awaited warm weather to begin, it is possible to create a delicious summer barbecue meal indoors to drive
Below is a recipe to satisfy those summer barbecue cravings.
Indoor Summer BBQ Baby Back Ribs
Ingredients:
2 pounds of St. Louis Style Baby Back Ribs
Spice Rub
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of pepper
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons cumin powder
- 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
Use the BBQ sauce of your choice.
Directions:
1 Preheat oven to 300 degrees
2. Combine spice rub and rub all over slabs of ribs
3. Wrap ribs tightly in aluminum foil
4. Place wrapped ribs in baking pan into the oven for 3hours
5. Remove ribs from aluminum foil after 3 hours brush with BBQ sauce of your choice
6. Place back in the oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees
7. Ready to serve
